Clayton County Schools Student Services Social Work Department 6th Annual Community Resource Fair

The 6th Annual Community Resource Fair hosted by Clayton County Public Schools’ Social Work Department will be held Thursday, March 05, 2020 from 2 pm- 7:00 pm on the lower level of South lake Mall located at 1000 South lake Mall, Morrow, Georgia 30260. The purpose of the fair is to provide information to Clayton County Families and Clayton County Public Schools’ personnel about the vast and varied community resources and services available to the families and students of our county. The theme of this year’s resource fair is, CCPS School Social Work Generations Strong- Supporting Schools and the Community.” As we enter a new decade, it is important to look back and honor the powerful, positive impact the social work profession has had on our society for generations. It is our hope that families of Clayton County Public Schools will participate in the fair, gather useful information, and connect with community resource providers to learn of the services that they provide. Some services and information provided at the event include assistance with counseling and mental health services, health care, academic enrichment programs, transportation, employment readiness, housing services, victim assistance, and more. We anticipate over 50 exhibitors. We believe that this fair will empower all who attend and prove to be a valuable asset to the families we serve. In addition to educating our families about services, the annual event offers some unique experiences for students and their families including interactive booths, special guests, and student performances. Families throughout the event will win door prizes.
