Homecoming Waffle 5K

For the Clayton State University Alumni Association’s third annual Homecoming 5K, participants will complete the first half of the course and then consume a waffle before finishing the race. Whether you complete the Waffle 5K as a Competitor, or just choose to run the 3.1 miles at a more leisurely pace as a No Waffle Runner, there will be a Waffle House waffle waiting for you at the end! This event strives to bring together the Clayton State and surround community with the local running community to compete in a challenge that requires a variety of skillsets. All proceeds go to support the Alumni Association Dream Maker Scholarship fund. Whether you choose to run the race, volunteer, or simply donate, your investment will benefit a great cause.
